GuiLun Thoughts
This couple [GuiLun] is probably the most criticized couple I've ever seen before. The female lead of MIT was voted online. The three choices were Hebe from SHE, Gui Gui from Hey Girl, and Rainie Yang. And of course, Hebe was the top choice. Great news for all those BeBu fans out there. Hahahaa~ in reality, they never actually paired up, I think. It was really the fanfictions and the age old saying of "they look compatible together" that drove fans to support this pairing. Sadly, Hebe was busy so she couldn't participate in MIT. So then Gui Gui who came in second was chosen to take part in MIT, thus creating GuiLun! And then the hating began.
I was against the GuiLun pairing at first, mainly because I had no clue who Gui Gui was. I guess my views on this pair changed after I watched 18 Censor or Not. I was impressed by the girl who played Xia Nian Qiao and I found out that she was Xiao Xun from Hey Girl. Yepp, so then I started to watch her other shows, Brown Sugar Macchiato and The Legend of the Brown Sugar Chivalries. So that was how I was exposed to the other Hey Girls, including Gui Gui. Her characters are pretty funny in both shows, though she had a really minor role in Chivalries. Eventually, I started to watch HSHMM. I've come to the conclusion that Gui Gui is one of the weirdest and most energetic person on tv that I know. She's weirder than Hebe! Hahahaa~ they're both really funny!
After watching the first three episodes of Pi Li MIT, I'm just glad that Rainie Yang wasn't chosen for the female role. I don't think she fits the mysterious schoolgirl image. Hebe and Gui Gui are the better choices. And Gui Gui's acting is so far so good. I'm even more impress with Arron's acting. He plays the typical cool guy outside warm guy inside character. Arron does a pretty good job at it! I'm waiting for more GuiLun interactions in the next few episodes! Woo! GuiLun!

TVB Gala 2008
Hahahaa! He's inserting a smiley face! How random is that! This year's show was funny and maybe funnier than last year's show. The show begins with some actors and actresses in English costumes dancing to music. Good music.
The next event was cool. Some trained actors were bouncing on this thing and writing something on the wall. Check it out!
OooO, another dancing event except this time it's hip hop with Liza Wang! Like whoa!!! I'll give her an A for effort. Her dance was okay. She was dancing girls and guys. The girl dancing group did pretty well. The guys on the other hand made mistakes at the beginning. Michael Tse nearly did an incomplete mid air turn. And then they weren't really dance at the same rate. Some people were dancing slower. I don't anyone can match up to the togetherness skills displayed at the Opening Ceremony! Now that was awesome! Hahaha!
The next show was a veterans' show. I guess this is the couples from the past segment of the show. There's four pairs as you can see below. I have no idea why Charmaine and Kevin are in this segment. They're not as "veteran" as the other three pair of veterans.
This was my favorite part of the show! The Three Comedians: Johnson Lee, Louis Yuen, and Wong Cho Lam! They came on stage impersonating Three Golden Flowers with a "cardboard figure with someone's face on it". HAHAHAA! That was smart. Their second act was Johnson Lee singing a song and Louis shooting a chicken (Wong Cho Lam) in the background! In the third act, the three of them came out as the three main female characters from Moonlight Resonance and rapped about Sonia's Deep V making them go crazy. HAHAHAA! Their last act was the three of them singing a revised version of "You and Me". Hahahahaaa~
Mini-Concert with Raymond Lam, Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong, Linda Chung, and Patrick Tang! I think they were singing live. Bosco was rapping and dancing. Linda was singing and dancing and so were Myolie and Raymond.
Hehehe! This was the segment that the media criticized the most! I thought this was a pretty funny skit. Three people are interviewed by the MR cast for different positions. The first person is Silly Ma (Eric Tsang) and the person acting as his arms is Charmaine! The second person is Deaf Auntie (Moses Chan) and the person acting as his arms is Christine Ng. Hahaa~ she kept groping his chest! The last person is Bosco Wong and the person acting as his arms is probably Myolie Wu! This skit has the usual pie throwing part and that's why the MR cast is wearing raincoats. Hahahahaa! That's the end!

Today, I made a SHOCKING discovery. Sike! It's a discovery but not a shocking one, maybe a little surprising. Well, the story begins almost a year ago. I was on the computer and came across a music file named "MLTR- Take Me to Your Heart". So I listened to it and thought it sounded somewhat familiar but I didn't give it a second thought. Hacken Lee attended a press conference yesterday marking the 9th Anniversary of the establishment of Macao SAR. This year's celebration will be at Macao Sport Stadium on 20th December. Hacken will be performing with Joey Yung, Sammi Cheng, Fahrenheit, Denise Ho, Bosco Wong as well as the Olympic Gold medalist Yang Wei. Hacken revealed that the programme will be decided by the organizer, but he is hoping he would be working with other singers and sport personalities. I Love Taiwan Idol Dramas!
Thank you so much! Thank you for saving my drama life! Hey TVB, I'll see you after my little vacation with Taiwan's Idol Dramas! Hehehehe! So, Taiwan Idol Dramas, I think these dramas are amazingly well done. The ones that I'm watching right now have inexperienced actors and actresses but the storyline is good and the dialog is just hilarious! Most of the male/female leads in the dramas are new to acting yet they're actually not that bad at acting at all.
Reasons for loving Taiwan Idol Dramas
- The characters have a lot of funny hallucinations! Hallucinations are a must in these dramas. You hardly see these in TVB dramas.
- The OSTs! These dramas usually have OSTs unlike TVB. TVB has some drama OSTs but not a lot.
- The male/female leads are probably new people that you've never seen before yet their acting is pretty solid. Unlike TVB, where a handful of actors/actresses appear in drama after drama after drama. It's like TVB ran out of people to lead their dramas.
- Most of the Taiwan dramas has high school as a theme. Most of TVB's characters work in some office or cubicle. They hardly have any school theme series.

Pi Li MIT had to re-film once, and after last friday's episode was aired, quite a few netizens found that Fan Wei Qi's hairstyle and makeup doesn't match in some scenes. FanFan herself was also at home playing this game of "spot the differences", she said, "I paid very close attention to see if there were loopgoles and in the end I realised that my hairstyle kept changing." GuiGui replied, "We have no idea the end product will be like when we are filming, its only when the show has aired on tv that we know what the storyline really is."

I'm feeling lost in this world. I've lost my sense of direction and I think many people feel this way in their first year of college. In elementary school, everyday was just do the homework, play, study, and watch TV. I didn't really think about the future much; it was just a matter of doing well in school so I could go to the next grade. Then comes junior high school where things got a little tough. It was the first time I flunked a test. Yepp! It was pretty dishearting looking at that test paper. Hehehe! So junior high school was just a waiting period to go to high school. Now this is where things got nastier. Staying up till 12 completely projects became a ritual. Back in elementary and junior high, the latest I probably stayed up to was 10:00 pm.
Yea...anyway, high school was where thoughts about future paths was on my mind everyday. What the heck am I going to do with the rest of my life? There's no more definite path to take after high school. Some people choose to go to college; some decide to join the army or navy; others immediately join the workforce with only a high school dipolma. I chose the college path but this college path branches out into even more paths. Right now, I feel like I'm at a cross section. There's just so many paths; I don't know which one to go to. I'm afraid of making the wrong choice. That's the real fear. The wrong choice.

Name: Teacher Cherry acted by Fan Wei Qi
Character: The previous leader of PiLiMIT, Teacher Charlie, also needs to be evolved, and is now taken over by the pretty and generous Teacher Cherry, who is very suitable for the job. Status: She is like an invisible person in school. (Hence, Teacher Cherry used this as an advantage as she thinks that XiaoXin is very suitable to be a spy.) She is also the abandoned daughter of the meimei group leader and the elder twin sister of the devil.
Best skills: She is willing to do anything just to think of the best storyline, including faking a suicide or stimulating a murder.
Tactics: She often cannot decide on using Sci-fiction, logic, or horror genres for her novels. Thus, her novels most distinguishing feature is that it often does not adhere to logic.
Weapon: She is unable to understand 007’s logic and reasoning. Hence, she just follows her own intuitions. (Her instincts are not any sixth sense supernatural powers, but rather comes from a fortune teller lady who tells fortunes at Xing Tian Gong (street name) underpass. With a single phone call, the fortune teller will give her inspiration to solve the case.
Experiences: As she lacks inspirations for her stories, she used the school’s case as her novel’s storyline. As a result, she became a suspect but yet accidentally became a member of PiLiMIT.

Everyone seemed to have something to critique about GuiGui, even the shoes that she was wearing. XiaoGui commented that the shoes GuiGui was wearing was very weird, and GuiGui defended herself by saying, "There's a padding inside my shoes to increase my height." When the crowd asked her where she bought it, GuoYanJun jumped out and said, "Just search 'GuoYanFu' on the internet and you can find it!" It turns out that his brother GuoYanFu loves to put padding in his shoes, and is thus widely known as a shoe padding guy, and just by searching his name on the internet, you can find the padding!
HAHAHAHAAA! Picture books and Gui Gui! Oh man, this is one weird but funny girl! HAHAHAA! Arron seems to be extremely happy to be on stage with Gui Gui. I guess their little arguement thingy is really over now! I'm glad they're on good terms again! Man, my reaction to this pairing has really changed. At first, I really didn't like this pairing because I was rooting for a Arron-Hebe pairing. But o well, what's done is done. I'm starting to like this pairing now mainly because I got to know Gui Gui more by watching HSHMM and a whole bunch of other stuff. By the way, their drama Pi Li Mit is airing TODAY! hehehe! Go support their drama! Wooo! This is Arron's first drama where he's the male lead! Go Go Arron!!!

Fahrenheit’s forthcoming concert in Kuala Lumpur promises a good time for fans.
That Fahrenheit is arguably the hottest Mando-pop boyband since F4 can be seen by the crowd of young fans milling around the hotel lobby and at various entrances and exits hoping to catch a glimpse of their idols.
You could say that Fahrenheit mania hit town in a big way and the group’s hotel in Kuala Lumpur was practically under siege.
The four dashing pop stars – Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang, Aaron Yan, Wu Chun – were in town for a press conference to promote their concert tour.
Malaysia is the second leg of Fahrenheit’s Fantasy World Tour which kicked off with a two-day gig in Hong Kong on Sept 26. Both were sell-out shows with a combined turnout of 24,000. Following their show here, the boys are set to perform in China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. Although this recent trip was considered Fahrenheit’s second official visit to Malaysia, it was the first time all four members were in Malaysia for a promotional tour.
Last year, only three – Wu, Wang and Chen – were present as Yan was recovering from surgery on a torn knee ligament sustained while filming a dance session for a music video.
This time, Wang arrived in a wheelchair. To allay media members’ concerns, Wang stood up to pose for pictures with the boys and clarified, “I really appreciate that the organisers are concerned that I might put too much pressure on my knee and over-exert myself so they have arranged for me to move around comfortably to avoid aggravating my injury.
“My knee is still sore and hurts every now and then. But, I really want to hasten the recovery period, so I can perform at my best during our concert here.” Yan was cheery and spoke in English.
“I’ve been really healthy. Don’t worry about me. We’ll put on a wonderful show,” said Yan.
All the band members are busy blokes, it seems.
After making his big screen debut starring alongside Hong Kong’s Charlene Choi, Wu can now be seen in the costume flick Butterfly Lovers, which is showing in cinemas nationwide.
“It’s good that I’m done with the film’s promotional activities, so I can concentrate on preparing for the concert,” said Wu.
As for the concert itself on Nov 15, the organisers are going for the big party experience with Fahrenheit.
“This KL concert will feature six costume changes while showcasing individual talents by each member – Wu Chun on drums, Jiro on the guitar, Aaron on the piano, and Calvin beatboxing. Apart from that, the concert will also feature multiple themes including futuristic, animation and Broadway, just to name a few,” said Kenneth Teo, general manager of Big Events Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Media Prima Bhd.
“Fahrenheit fans should expect a spectacular concert. The boys promise a rocking big party,” added Teo.
Having made their debut in 2006, the boys have two Mandarin albums and two Japanese singles. They were named Most Popular Group at the HITO Music Awards 2008, among the many accolades received.

This kind of family background let Yi Chen to develop a very thrifty way of life.” – Many articles about Lin Yi Chen would start off in this way, letting her have a sad but strong image. But to her, even though her life was painful, her childhood was that off any other girl – loving Cinderella and the Prince’s love story, chocolates and sweet things, often quarrelling with her brother, drawing beautiful anime girls with big eyes and skirts with bows and lace. What’s cruel was that the show’s Xiang Qin could go to Zhi Shu for help, but in real life, she only had herself: “Also, at that point of my life, I discovered that I couldn’t find anyone for help.” Hence she could only grow up fast, but unwillingly.
The same scene repeated itself in It Started with A Kiss II. Her makeup arrangement must follow a special order and must be facing up; the decorations in her room must be arranged according to her preferences and cannot be moved; her accessories and shoes must be numbered and neatly stacked; every night she will sleep at 8 and wake up at 4.30 the next morning, then eating her breakfast at a stipulated time while listening to the radio.
With her boisterous and adorable outer appearance, her insistence on perfection let Da S and Xiao S to go crazy. After filming an episode of ‘Da Xiao Ai Chi’, they termed any young person like her a ‘Chen-type Little Old Person’.
Strong, lucky and determined, Lin Yi Chen has entered her 26th year, walking to the throne of ‘Idol Drama Queen’. Some people say, everyone can be 26 years old, but not everyone can become a queen of dramas. But she said: “After today, I will not be a queen of dramas anymore, and my life and work will continue as usual.”

There are quite a bit of intimate scenes in “Dogs”. Ma Zai says that he and Linda have already shot 3 or 4 kissing scenes, and that since entering entertainment, this series has the most kissing scenes between him and his female lead.
When teased that he got lucky, (『艳』福不浅 yan fu bu qian) Steven quips: What 艳福? Should be 焰福 instead ! (puns on the word 『艳』vs 『焰』 both pronounced as 【yàn】 in Chinese. 『焰』means hot, blazing flames. ) We were on location everyday, shooting under a scorching sun and suffering heat wave. Also, so as to accommodate various camera angles, we had to contort our bodies. After each cut, we were both exhausted.
Asked if he felt awkward doing the kissing scenes, Steven says: No! All we need to do were to exude an innocent sweet feeling, none of those French kisses. So not awkward at all.
He even kidded Linda after their kissing scene: Aiyo! I’d just finished kissing the dog and I forgot to wipe my mouth before kissing you.

Linda knew that Steven was just kidding her so she laughed good-naturedly. Theirs was a happy collaboration. Even the kissing scenes were done naturally and spontaneously. Total tacit understanding between them.
WAHHH! Another Linda-Steven pairing!!! This is their third collaboration after Virtues of Harmony 2 and Journey Called Life!!! Wooo~ I actually like this pairing over the Linda-Raymond pairing... hahaha
