The Seventh Day Initial Thoughts

Like many people out there, I've been highly anticipating this series. Even thought I keep telling myself that high expectations will often result in disappointment, I'm willing to gamble on this series. I truly believe that this series will fall in that .1% where the high expectations will yield satisfying results. Well at least Chi Wing(Kevin Cheng) and Ka Yan's (Niki Chow) storyline...as for the other pair, Don(Bosco Wong) and Sasa(Natalie Tong)...eh...not that interested.





Ah~the theme video of this series. I remember that I was forced to watch this like 5 times in a row on Wednesday at someone's house. *Cough* Arrow *Cough* Overall, I felt that the theme video gives off this very serene and placid aura. The scenery in the theme video is so beautiful. So calm. So natural. Yet in the foreground, a tragic love story unfolds itself.

Tonight is Xiao Zhu's first time singing in Hong Kong. Earlier when they were filming for Hot Shot, it turns out that there were suppose to be two heavy rain scenes. Bull Fighting Episode 13 Summary Part II

Imagine this. You just ran a few miles to a warehouse because your car crashed. As you open the doors of the warehouse, you see a basketball court. You step inside the warehouse and suddenly, white things start to float down from above. You take a closer look and notice that the white things are goose feathers. You look up and all you see are those white feathers floating down gently, some fall on your face, while others touch the floor.By this time, the floor is covered in goose feathers. You then turn your attention to the basketball and there standing in the midst of it all, is the one person that makes your heart beat 1000 times faster, makes your sweat have warmth, and gives taste to the rice you eat.

And that, my friend, is the infamous feather scene of Bull Fighting.


Previously on Bull Fighting, Hebe wanted 5 minutes to talk alone with Mike. However, he refused to give her 5 minutes unless one of the following happens: "...the sun rises from the west, Dong Shang runs into a typhoon, and the 13th Street basketball court starts snowing"(translated by Little_Purple_Bell@AF). Now that the warehouse(13th Street basketball court) is "snowing", will Mike give Hebe her 5 minutes? Unfortunately, no. Mike claims that it was feathers falling not snow so it doesn't count.



With the Bull Fighting spirit raging inside her, Hebe refuses to give up and challenges Mike to a basketball game where one point will determine everything. Mike will play defense and Hebe will have to score one point to win and get her 5 minutes. After several failed attempts, Hebe starts to use the "push attack" where she just uses her shoulders and pushes Mike. Seeing how ineffective it was, she switches to another attack, the "mouth attack". The first time, she tricks him into believing that she was going to run to the basket. The second time, she tricks him again with the same attack. The third time, she runs towards him and tells him that she was going to kiss him. He instantly moved back and she ran passed him to the basket, jumps, and SWISHHH! Point for Hebe! YAY! She wins!(Note: The feathers are still falling!)

Now listen to what she says after she wins and you'll see how strong the lines are in this series:

Meanwhile, Lee Wei and QN(the banker's daughter) are conversing on the phone. QN tells Lee Wei that she wants the next 50 years of his life! ~WOOOO~ HEHEHE


Now moving onto the no-good parents. Mike's father finds out that the Mike's car exploded and is worried sick. Or is he? He blames his most trusted henchman for stopping the car and allowing Mike to go to the warehouse. On the other side, QN tells her mother that she wants to break off the engagement with Mike and go out with Lee Wei. And of course QN's mother opposes it and uses QN's past to discourage her from going out with Lee Wei. QN's past: Michael, her lover, died in a street car race because he needed the money to buy a wedding ring for QN. QN's mother claims that QN's disobedience caused Michael's death. QN argues that Michael died because he didn't get QN's mother's approval. And this time, QN is determine to have her mother accept Lee Wei.


Back in Hebe's room, Mike is still unconscious. Hebe vows to make Mike her man after tonight. She changes his clothes as well as her own and now they look like they just came back from Hawaii. This part was really weird. Hebe lies next to the unconscious Mike and makes one of her henchman take pictures of them lying together. HAHAHA! Ah~ I can't wait to watch ep 14!

Bed scene for "Bull Fighting"? Mike He and Hebe have different criterion

Idol drama Bull Fighting’s Mike He and Hebe filmed a bed scene. Mike He humorously says: “We were filming on a bed, but not that kind of bed scene!” With regards to the ‘bed scene’, the two’s criterion were totally different, Mike He believes that: “Criteria isn’t the major issue” it all depends on the needs of the drama. Bull Fighting Episode 13 Summary Part I

Ah~Bull Fighting episode 13, the episode that I've been practically drooling over. There's lots of Hebe and Mike scene, lots of memorable quotes, and last but not least the highly anticipated feather scene. The episode begins with a narration by Shen Ruo He(Mike) followed by many flashbacks. His narration is basically about how sometimes someone is forced to wear a mask and these masks can be easily broken by the person you love.


The banker praises Lee Wei for his tactacs against the bank strike and askes him to stay and work for her. However, he refuses because he still sees himself as part of 13th Street. I guess he's not mad at Wu Ye anymore for hiding the truth about his father. Anyway, QN (the banker's daughter) wants to leave with Lee Wei but they are stopped by the banker. The banker suddenly askes QN (who is engaged to Mike) if she likes Lee Wei. And of course, her answer is yes but the banker opposes it.


QN is a very brave woman for standing up against her mother who is feared by many including Mike and his father. Her mother actually threatened to hurt Hebe if Mike didn't get engaged to her daughter. I'm telling you this is one scary woman who shows no motherly love. QN is not only brave in her family life; she's also quite courageous in her love life. She goes after Lee Wei despite knowing that he has someone in his heart. But that someone already has someone else in her heart. I find her to be a stronger character than Hebe sometimes.


QN and Lee Wei leave the bank and she confesses to him about her feelings. She uses Lee Wei's words against him. (Confused?) Well earlier in another episode, Lee Wei told Mike that "True Love does not wait" and Mike is wasting his time by not going after Hebe and will regret it later. Well QN tells Lee Wei that "True Love does not wait" and she will regret it if she doesn't go after him.


Mike comes back from rescuing Hebe and has a little talk with QN where QN encourages him to go after Hebe. However, Mike is still in denial and refuses to meet Hebe at the bull fighting place. QN promises to break off the engagement and lend money to his father's company. She encourages him again to give himself and Hebe another chance. At this point, Mike's no-good-father comes back to scold Mike for still thinking about Hebe.


There is something really wrong with Mike's father. All he seems to care about is his company, his reputation, and his money. Mike has stood by the side his father from the beginning, although he had disobeyed his father a couple of times, he always went back to his father's side. Let's just say that his father is a callous person.


After the many encouragements from QN, Mike decides to "fly out of his father's palm" by first meeting Hebe at the bull fighting place. He gets passes his father's men and jumps into his car and escapes. His father and the bodyguards pile into two separate cars and chases after Mike.


At the bull fighting place, Hebe and the crew are preparing the place for the "snowfall". They cleaned the whole place down and got the equipment for the goose feathers ready. After everything was finished, the only thing left that needed a make over is Hebe. Unfortunately, she didn't prepare a dress for the "snowfall" event. The crew argued over what they should do until the gates clang. And guess what? It's Lee Wei to the rescue. He bought a new dress for Hebe.


Meanwhile, Mike is still trying to escape from his father. It seems like his love for Hebe has touched one of his father's most trusted henchman. This henchman purposely stops the car so that Mike can fully concentrate on reaching the bull fighting place on time. Sadly, his car goes out of control, crashes, and flips upside down. Oil starts to leak from the car. And while all this happening, a flashback narration by Hebe is playing in the background. Hebe talks about how she will never give up on their love. And that's the Bull Fighting spirit.


Back at the bull fighting place, everyone is just sitting there waiting for Mr. Mike to come. Hebe is especially anxious, wondering whether or not he will come.


In the car, Mike wakes up and successfully crawls out of the car. TO his horror, a fire has started to surround his car and he quickly runs and the car EXPLODES. BOOM! Oh no, don't worry he didn't get hurt. With no car, will he give up? Of course not, he runs to the place instead.

S.H.E dress up as maids, face frozen but still cute

S.H.E engaging in cosplay, following the Japanese maid craze? Recently filming a commercial in Beijing, the three dressed up as maids, their faces were obviously stiff with the cold, but they still played cute, even the most 'man' Ella had a head of curls, actually coming in tops in terms of prettiness.

S.H.E signed a contract with a famous contact lens brand in China, recently went to China for still shoots and to film a TV commercial, however just happened that the weather was wintry cold, all their costumes consisted of short sleeves and short skirts, the normally active trio were so cold that they either hid in the heated resting area, eating snacks to keep warm, or were huddled around the few small heaters.

To keep with the commercial, S.H.E were changing in and out of outfits nonstop, the funniest costume was the maid outfit, the three for the first time were transformed into pretty little maids, turning into "Marias", holding brand new cleaning props and pretending to be the real deal. Ella was in long sleeves, already causing Selina and Hebe to complain of unfair treatment, she even made her hair into little curls, causing her cuteness factor to skyrocket, the most 'man' one actually becoming the prettiest maid.

However the weather was much too cold, S.H.E tried all means to keep warm, even wearing tights under their miniskirts, but afraid this would be revealed, they had to keep on rolling them up. S.H.E laughed and said, "We are fashionable maids, under our work uniforms, we have inner trousers with bling bling on it!" Happy Valentine Day! O gosh, seeing Hebe reminds me of Bull Fighting since she was the main female lead in it. These past few days, I've been pretty busy working at family shop, working at the office, working in school, working at home. But despite all these workings, I managed to squeeze around an hour to watch Bull Fighting epi 13. Yes, this is the episode with the car explosion and the feather scene. This is the best episode so far. A lot of Mike and Hebe scenes in this one along with Lee Wei and the other girl (the banker's daughter). I'll be sure to post something about this episode tomorrow.

Progress Report Again

I received my report card a few days ago and I have mixed feelings about my grades. For one, I'm glad I didn't fail gym. Some of you might think that it's impossible to fail gym after all it's one of the easiest class in school...but that's not the case when gym is first period! HAHAHA! I missed my last three gym classes because I was late and decided to eat breakfast in the cafeteria instead(yea, i skipped class!). Back to the main topic now, report card time for the dramas i've been watching again. By the way, I've started to watch Wasabi Mon Amour and Gentle Crackdown 2.

Bull Fighting: 94/100 (+2)
Oh, this drama is starting to drag a bit. I heard that there was going to be 14 episodes for this series and I'm disappointed! It's way too short! I saw ep 11 a couple of days ago, and gosh it's such a tear dropper episode. This episode exposed viewers to Lee Wei's pains and his side of the story. His powerful speech at the beginning and Hebe's thank you speech at the end were well written. Absolutely beautiful!

It Started With a Kiss 2: 82/100 (-3)
This drama is dying out on me. It's so slow but I'll continue because I want to see Arron act. He finally makes his appearance in ep 6. BUT he was only on screen for like 2 minutes. That's no good.

Best Selling Secrets: 90/100 (+1)
I'm happy that this sitcom got extended to 500 episodes, although that's a bit too much but I like it. I'm still hoping that Diana and her former assistant get together after all those misunderstandings.

So I'm Not Handsome: 92/100
This drama is so funny! Even the title of this drama is funny! It's about these three guys in college and all the crazy things they do together! One of them is a player; one of them likes the most prettiest girl in the college; one is plain crazy. Put the three of them together and you will truly be LMAO(Laughing my ass off)!

Wasabi Mon Amour:89/100
A drama with pretty good special effects and food that looks edible and delicious. I really wonder if Michael ever gets tired of smiling. In almost every scene, he's smiling with his teeth showing. Overall, this series is ok and it has the comedy factor in it. Louisa and the pink hair! Oh My~

The Gentle Crackdown 2: 91/100
Aside from the Yumiko factor, this is a really good series! I love how they named those 5 guards after the ladies in Beautiful Cooking! Brilliantly funny! Those 5 guards are the ones that made me continue watching this comical series especially Johnson! These men are hilarious and witty.
